Spelt Cracker Recipe

60 Reviews
4.7/5

Crunchy homemade spelt crackers are my go-to snack for those lazy afternoons. Thanks to my easy-spelt cracker recipe, I can easily swap out bread and pastries for these little bites of joy. They’re like a health fiesta, bursting with seeds, oats, and a drizzle of olive oil. This spelt cracker recipe is my secret weapon against those store-bought salty snacks. And oh, when I pair them with sundried tomato spread or a pesto spread, they transform into a delightful afternoon energy slump or even a quick, fuss-free dinner. The magic lies in their simplicity – mix, bake, and voila! The key is to let them crisp up nicely in the oven, but keep an eye out – no one likes a burnt cracker!

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees and line 2 oven trays with baking paper.

Step 2

In a bowl, mix all dry ingredients.
Add olive oil and water and mix again. The mixture should be slightly watery.

Step 3

Pour half the mixture into each tray and flatten with a spoon so the crackers come out thin and crispy.
